I have been very lucky that I have two of the most wonderful little girls! One is 6 and one is 1. We have 2 kittens (Dora and Boots) and a somewhat grumpy lab named Dave the Dog. We live in a small house with a small yard within walking distance to a grocery store and our local park. I volunteer at my daughters school 2 days a week and have lots of fun learning what actually happens at school, not just hearing the sometimes very colorful versions from my little girl. 

My first memories are of me alone with books(even though I had an older brother and younger sister), so I have always been a reader.  I like everything,  but I love chick lit. Not the kind with copious amounts of melodrama, but the books with a little attitude, a little sex, a little mystery and LOTS of humor. For a while now my favorite author has been Jenny Crusie (she just does not write quickly enough!). I like the Stephanie Plum mysteries (Ranger fan), although I do not like all of Evanovich's stuff. I like Katie MacAlister as she makes me giggle. I like Linda Howard, Lisa Kleypas, Heather Graham...etc., etc..

My favorite books of all time are: (not necesarily in order) The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables Series, The Witch on Blackbird Pond, Shadow of the Moon, Horton Hatches An Egg, DarkAngel, Bet Me, and Dragon Song
